Elizabeth Toledo

Elizabeth Toledo, Executive Director at Arizona Latino Artists Cultural Center (ALAC) - is a dynamic force in Phoenix's cultural scene. As ALAC's Executive Director since March 2017, Elizabeth oversees objectives, promoting artists, managing exhibits, and leading daily gallery operations. Starting at ALAC in May 2014, she served as Education Director, focusing on community art education and providing a platform for young artists during Phoenix Downtown First Fridays. With over 14 years as High School Assistant Principal, Elizabeth supervised curriculum, teacher evaluations, student discipline, and school improvement planning. Previously, she was a Visual and Performing Arts Teacher, enriching students' lives through music, theater, drawing, painting, and directing choirs. Elizabeth holds a Master's in Educational Leadership from Arizona State University and actively contributes to cultural and educational initiatives. Fluent in Spanish, she shapes and promotes arts and education in the community.
